My probably last gig of the year took place again in Hannover’s Café Glocksee, under the “2G+” rule (vaccinated or recovered with an additional test), plus a mask requirement up to the seat in the club with a maximum of 50 seats.
Nonetheless, the Hamburg band GRUNDEIS, founded in 2018, delivered a fantastic show – almost all of the songs of their great debut album “Amygdala” as well as two new songs were played. With their mix of postpunk and shoegaze, the quartet proves once again that despite all the (mostly older) nostalgia complainers, there are definitely good new bands – we will certainly hear more from GRUNDEIS!
Conclusion
Great band in one of my favorite clubs – together with the gig of Naturata Brutalismus my top 2 of the year!
